i've been slacking...

please accept my sincerest apologies for any lack of entertainment that my non-posting has caused you. what must you be doing with all that extra time?

actually, i've been pretty busy lately. i have a number of little vacations planned including a weekend in Maine (feb), a weekend in NYC (march), the trip to Cali (april), and the ski trip to VT this weekend. all very exciting and very different.

maine: a quiet weekend away so far north that i will practically be in canada. it's most likely going to be very cold, so will probably stay indoors most of the weekend and have some hot chocolate or something.

nyc: taking a little road trip to visit my beloved LJB (aka 'soy') for a weekend of fun and mystery. we are doing one of those mystery hunt things ... i'll explain more once i've done it and know what the hell i am talking about :)

cali: haven't booked this trip yet, so final details are up in the air. i think it will be 4 or 5 day trip to southern cali. i'm looking forward to laying on a beach somewhere warm and getting to meet a few folks that live there.

the long-awaited ski trip: this weekend is going to be a blast! there's been much more chaos surrounding the trip this year vs. last year, but it's all working out in the end. me and the other 45 or so skiers hit the road tomorrow. no doubt there will be plenty of photos to share when i get back.

it appears i have a busy month or two ahead of me. all of those trips combined with a visit from LJB to Boston, a visit from Tik and Tet, a night out for a previous boss, and at least one planned dinner in the North End, and i've got a lot to look forward to and a lot to post about.
