tidbits to keep you smiling

just a couple of quick-mentionables:

have i mentioned how funny my landlord is...
when i came back from costa rica, and told him about the trip, he told me that i should go back and marry a conquistador. he's hilarious because he is completely serious. he's offered to interview suitors for me many times since i've been living there and i know he means it. i guess i'm just a good tenant.

only me...
yesterday, my boss used a lint roller on my back while explaining a task i needed to do. too funny. i'm sure that crosses some line or something, but who really cares? we're like two little old ladies when we get gossiping. in fact, we watched the SNL clip of JT's Homelessville skit yesterday with a crowd of coworkers in my office. there's no better place to work sometimes. :)

a couple of the best christmas presents i've ever received...
my high school boyfriend was a great gifter. he gave me a telescope one year and then a ferret the next year. both awesome.

years ago, when i was living with a boyfriend and his parents, the boyfriend's mom gave me a box of thongs. that was a fun thing to open in front of the entire family ;)

leaving for houston tomorrow and have a ton of little surprises planned to go off like unsuspecting fireworks of smiles and happiness while i am away. should be interesting to see how it all plays out. i love being sneaky... especially when it's for a good cause.
i'll probably be blogging here and there while i'm away (10 days of heaven), but just in case i get lazy - happy holidays everyone!!
