esta un cinco de mayo bien (so far)

i'd say it's gonna be a good day...

7:30 AM - decided to get out of bed
8:30 AM - got asked out on a date
8:45 AM - picked up a mocha latte for a belated birthday boy at work
8:46 AM - got a parking ticket for being in Starbucks for two minutes
9:00 AM - spilled said coffee on my white shirt and khaki pants
9:05 AM - washed aforementioned white shirt in the ladies room sink
9:15 AM - spilled my coffee on my desk, barely missing my pants
9:16 AM - strapped on a bib and swore off coffee forever

other plans for the day:
-calling my boss by the nickname his wife calls him as many times as possible today
-endulging in a burrito in honor of the mexican defeating the french (?)
-closing my office door and working my butt off to finish an application
-bringing my newly fashionable bib to tia's for a margarita or two
