my weekend & reverse your arm noodles

saturday was the massively awesome zombie march. being the half-assed participant i am (promised to do it next year though!), i grabbed some friends and headed to meet the zombies at the bar. i am SO glad i got to finally meet jesse and edithved. as it turns out, we have more in common than we had thought. sing it with me now: it's a small world after all. i think carly had the most fun of our group though -- she got zombified at the bar and was loving it.

sunday, i headed out to the burbs with suz for a beauty supply party at my cousin's house. suz and i giggled our way through beauty treatment after beauty treatment and ended up buying some eye cream that was really good. also, i learned that products with mineral oil in them are bad for your skin. in fact, they age your skin faster than other products do. just thought i'd share that.

then, i got invited to a prestigous dinner party at joe & holly's. ok, so it isn't actually a big dinner party or anything... i mean, i didn't have to wear a ballgown... but it was spectacular. holly is an amazing girl. the food she effortlessly whipped up was better than any tasty morsel you'd see on the food network (sorry, giada). plus, she's such a sweetheart. i've said it before and i'll say it again -- joe, you've got a keeper. :) oh, and i managed to not eat giles' food, so the world was ok ;)
