just call me limpy
yeah, so i had my first personal training appointment last night. ouch. today, when i walk, i feel like my calves might actually rip. so, i signed up for 24 more sessions. i ought to be a buff little princess in no time :). oh, and a comment about the trainer: not sketchy at all so far...no flirting.. no slip of the hand while stretching me out... all good so far. i'm keeping a close eye on him just in case though. the funny parts of the training session were as follows:
- the part where he wanted to know my goals and what i've been doing. i filled him and told him that i didn't want to work out my chest because i didn't want to lose my boobs (so what if i'm vain, i like my boobs, ok?!?). he ignored me and told me that we would be doing it anyways because that isn't how it works. supposedly, you lose fat evenly, no in the section that you are working out. oh well, hasta luego boobies.
- the part where i nearly blacked out from being over-heated. theses things happen with me. if you are one of the lucky ones to have experienced one of my near-blackouts (or heaven forbid an actual blackout) you have seen me at my worst. now my trainer has as well. :)
all that training talk leads me to my new nickname (given by my boss). he now calls me 'fatty' and for good reason. i told him a story about monday night. one i will now share with you:
i told you about monday's events and drinking with my ex and his friend, but what i didn't mention was how i gorged on food afterwards. after the boys left me at the bar, i ordered a pizza to go and ended up having to wait an hour or so for it. i leave the bar, pizza in hand, and while talking on the phone to suz, decide that a pizza isn't enough. i then stopped and picked up a panini as well. i went home and ate both of them. hence the new nickname: fatty. :)
in other news (i find myself using this phrase a lot lately):
there is a slight possibility of my marrying a russian 23 year old to keep him in the country. i haven't met him yet, but am told he's really nice. i mean, it would be a grand charitable gesture, right? helping someone else make a life for themself? anyways, i wouldn't worry about this newflash too much. it would mean my having to call a coworker 'dad' (father in-law) and that is just a little weird. you know, unlike the rest of me. ;)

1 Comments:
1. have you seen the film "greencard"? i encourage you to think of your life as a romantic comedy.
2. i'm not saying you and i don't have a "you've got mail" type situation here.
3. except of course that i would obviously be meg ryan. which mean you would have to be tom hanks, and while you do have the dramatic range, i'm not certain you have the jawline.
4. which is cool, because then you'd more or less look like tom hanks.
5. who is a dude.
6. so, in summary, i don't think you look like a dude.
7. have i mentioned that i've been drinking?
