other stuff

had a bunch more crazy dreams lately... told E about one that i'm sure he found humor in.

i've had a cold since last friday. over a week of downing all sorts of cold remedies to sort myslef out and i am still coughing up a storm. i had one of those coughing fits where you can't stop, you get all hot because you can't breath, nearly gag and people start asking you if you are ok because you are obviously causing a scene. luckily i was in a pharmacy, so i expect that they see it often enough that they didn't think i was a complete psycho. at least that's what i told myself as i was stumbling out of the store gasping for air and pulling off layers of clothing to cool myself down.

been stressed out with christmas shopping, but who isn't i guess, right?

oh, got #64 in my collection of shoes the other day. a stylish pair of winter-esque knee boots (no, not uggs) that i am practically living in on the weekends.

let's see...
the going-away parties at work were fabulous. i am loved (at least in the platonic sense). we had a party at a nearby bar with about 50 people, and my fabulous boss sprung for catering and a big ol' tab. then, when the tab was closed, the big wig of the site bought me two rounds :) i rule. the next day (my last day), they had a party with cake and the whole site for me. i got some totally awesome presents too! i rule. again. oh, and i stayed there until 7pm (11 hr day) to finish up as much as i could before leaving. insane, yes, but i had to do it.

other than that, i hung out w/ M and his gal the other night. had some wine hoping to flush out the germs with some alcohol... didn't work, but i had a great time catching up with M. thanks, M.
