the new job

the new job is killer. i am loving it. i am being challenged like no other. a project that would normally take 2 wks to complete at the old job is expected to be done in 4 days at the new one. serious pressure. a lot of learning and a whole new group of folks. pretty awesome.
as for the environment, it is totally different as well. i sit away from my group immersed in some scientists that are pretty much in the lab all day. it is really quiet and i never just bump into anyone i know. i know about 10 people and really only 3 or 4 of them well enough to say hi if i saw them in the halls. it's a little weird coming from a place where you know everyone and know a whole lot more about them.
