at night, that's when i come alive

in times where you are stressed out, over-worked, and tired of the mundane aspects of your life, it is a great relief to have friends that seek you out to hang with because they really enjoy your presence. in fact, i even had a co-worker tell me that i was their sunshine for the day (i happen to be wearing bright yellow when they said it, but cool nonetheless).

to quote one of my favorite dance beats:

the boredom sets in 9 to 5
at night, that's when i come alive'

so, it's night time. i'm going out with friends. probably just hitting the usual places, but sometimes the places that might not be on the rise, but you know them and they know you are the best places to go.

still incredibly impressed by the Tiesto dvd. anyone who doesn't believe that spinning a good beat is a concert, can kiss my butt. i mean, there is even a part where there is a whole choir onstage. the way he controls the ups and downs of the crowd with the drop of every beat is mezmerizing. you can even flip to different track listings on the dvd. so cool.

cheering update: yeah, my team won 1st place last weekend. didn't feel like a 1st place performance, but it'll do.
