frozen cocktail

i, like many people, have my utterly dumb moments. i'd like to blame this recipe for disaster one on 1 cup forgetfulness, 2 cups stress, and a pinch of blonde.

last weekend i had two of my closest friends over (Katie and Danielle, or Tet and Tik as i refer to them). we had a grand ol' time staying in and watching chick-flicks. well, we had bought wine to go with the proverbial 'cheese' (aka chick-flicks) and stuck them in the freezer to get cold quickly. now, Tet and Tik don't really drink wine, so I stooped a little lower in the wine list and bought some white zin and a bottle of white merlot (this one purely out of curiosity). we later drank the zin, but didn't bother with the merlot. see where i'm going with this?...

i just opened my freezer to find the bottle of white merlot frozen solid. the cork has almost come completely out of the bottle and the alcohol in the bottle had seeped out into my freezer. wine extract anyone?

i must admit i just had a pretty good laugh at myself while cleaning up the mess. now the real question is this... will i be able to tell the difference that the alcohol has leaked out, if i drink the soon-to-be-thawed, once-wine beverage?
