pain + ass + snow = thursday

my knee is finally feeling better! it's such a small thing (well, actually it's the largest joint in the body... but does anyone want to listen to me when it's trivia night? no.), but it plays a big part in your daily activities. i guess i took my knees for granted. ok, i'm weird... i know it. :)

last night, after another hilariously funny training session (my trainer cracks me up sometimes), i sat with him and went over my diet for the past week. i had given him lists of everything i ate for a week, the total amount of calories, total protein, carbs, etc... the only thing he wants me to change is to cut out bread now. i was only eating wheat bread as it was, but now i'm not even allowed that. i'm allowed to eat 1300 calories a day (which i have been doing now for a couple of weeks), about 100g of carbs, 150g of protein, and as little sugar as possible (i can't seem to get it below 35g/day). it's pretty crazy, actually. i'm turning into muscle girl. i'm tone in places i didn't know could be tone! the benefit of all of this craziness, you ask (besides the obvious one: being healthier)? the other day, someone told me that my ass has gotten really hot. yay! i've got a hot ass!

after the conversation about my diet, i stopped and talked to one of the other trainers at the front desk of the gym (i'm there so often these days, that i pretty much know everyone that works there and some of the other regular gym-goers). he was asking me what i liked most about training with my trainer and what i've noticed has changed the most. i told him that i liked training with him because it makes me come to the gym. there's no excuse when you have to cancel 24hrs in advance. he responded: "do you usually have a problem with commitment?". i started laughing, gave him a little smirk and told him that i don't usually, no. just with the gym. he told me that i was looking really good, then pointed out that he can actually say that to a girl in the gym and not get slapped. we sat and chatted for a few more minutes, and then i headed home with one thought: do i have a problem with commitment? .... don't know. i can't commit to an answer right now ;)

just downloaded an album by snow patrol this morning. i'm totally digging it. i highly recommend it. oh, and i owe nate a huge thank you for introducing them to me. nate's one of those people that knows what's cool without anyone else having to clue him in. he's a valued resource when it comes to music, sneakers, jeans, and other random cool stuff.
THANKS, NATE!!! you're the best!
