so tired...

went out to my local hangouts last night with a new friend. he's quite inspiring, really. kid's been all over the world and then some. makes me want to christen that chaste passport of mine. i stayed out way later than i should have, but at least i had some fun. god knows i need fun lately.

now, i am sitting in the dark in my office, thinking of how refreshing it would be if i could fit into the vase of the bamboo plant on my desk and swim in it's clear cool water. i know. i'm odd. what else is new? ;) plus, i think i'm a tad dehydrated.

at least i'm in a better state than i was last friday morning. it wasn't pretty. i spent the better half of the day gagging/dry heaving/fighting off nausea. needless to say, i didn't end up going out that night. in fact, i ended up missing armin van buuren, whom (or is it who?) i would've loved to see live. anyone who listens to tiesto, oakey or even some generic dance anthems would like van buuren's new disc 'shivers'. i highly recommend it. oh, and the linked video has a girl showering in it. you even catch a little side boob (i know you were all hoping for that).

the weekend:
tonight, i have a b-day party to go to in the south end. tomorrow, i have over-booked myself and have two parties that i am supposed to be attending. sunday, it's easter, but who cares (i took easter back as a 'jen' holiday a few years back and i intend to keep it that way). i plan on hanging with E and N and watching a star wars movie. looking forward to marathon monday where the runners aren't the only ones participating. thousands of people will be on a marathon-like binge of alcohol right along side them. myself included.
