nyc download

as promised...

transportation issues:
last time suz and i ventured to nyc, we had some issues getting home. this time, we got there and back, but there were some complications. the bus ride there took an extra 2 hours. with that in mind, we decided to take the train home. another train broke down though, so we had to stop and "rescue" the other train's passengers. we were an hour late back to boston. figures.

addictions:
i've admitted many times that i have a shopping prob. this weekend was no different. at least it was countered by laura's purse addiction. although, she seems to think that i am crossing over to that arena as well. perhaps, but it is unintentional, i promise. :)

my near death experience:
ok, so it wasn't really near death, but it was intense. my stomach was in severe turmoil and my blood sugar dropped to an all-time low. i could hardly talk let alone shop. i owe a lot to these girls. none of them have ever seen me like this and i think it was a bit surprising. suz practically told me what to buy (there were actually a few things i needed) and laura and nik kept me smiling. we got some lunch after a 2 hour wait and i was all better.

relationship issues:
one of the girls is going through a lot with her man. we spent a while talking about it with her and it made me realize how good things have been in my past relationships. i think i take that for granted sometimes. girlie, we love you and are here no matter what.

shoe count:
so i think i now have 61 pairs of shoes. crazy, right? i think i may get rid of a few. i just realized i have 6 pairs of running sneakers. 6! who the heck needs that many? i am not a triathlete.

i guess those are the main highlights of the trip. as usual, there are more details, but i am a tad too busy to divulge them all right now. later, perhaps.
