good karma

a good thing happened to me today. it started off with me going back to the dealership to have a new antenna put on my car (someone stole the original). i got there, was told it would take an hour, so sat down and read a magazine. the guy next to me complimented my perfume, which was nice (although, i always wonder if that means it is too strong and that is what he is really telling me in a subtle way). close to an hour passes and the service man calls me up to the desk. he tells me that they got the wrong antenna in and that i'd have to come back once the correct one comes in. so far, this news is not too good, right? wrong!

he then tells me that he will not be charging me the $100 for the antenna, nor will he be charging me for the installation. he asks if i want my car washed while i am there, and i decline (it was just there and washed less than a week ago). so, for my inconvenience, and without my asking, i just got my antenna free. nice!
