spamalot & the sox

so i logged onto aol today to clear out my inbox of the usual spam. i've had the account since i was 14 years old and i hardly ever use it these days. i know i should probably just get rid of it, but it has some weird sentimental value to it. 'my first email account'.... awwwww.

i logged in and to my freakin' surprise saw that i had 2496 unread emails. holy crap! now, i'd like to say that at least 10 of those are from people i know who just wrote to check in or fill me in on their lives, but no (actually there were 2 from my cousin, and i hate to say it, but they were just chain letter things that i don't read therefore don't forward). almost 2500 spam messages. 3 months worth. obviously i was bad in a past life. maybe i was a snail-mail spammer and this is my punishment.

i would also like to point out that my faith in the red sox management (that includes you, Theo) is dwindling. i mean, they get rid of a guy that wants to be here, takes a reduced contract to stay here, and is an all-around seemingly good guy. what the heck? i'll miss you Bronson. so will the dirty water.
