easy like saturday morning

i had the misfortune of coming home late last night and not being able to find a parking spot for 45 minutes. when i finally did find one, it was a metered spot, meaning i would have to move my car by 8am on a saturday. so much for sleeping in. at least it got me up though.

after moving my car, i decided to nix my original plan of going back to bed and go and grab some breakfast instead. i got some good ol' D&D and sat on a bench on Comm ave watching the city wake up. it was very peaceful and i got to see a few dogs, making me want one more than i already did. almost no one was out yet though, so it was nice to almost have the city to myself for a bit. helped me turn my frown upside-down. :)

i have high ambitions for the day now though. i guess waking up early isn't so bad.
