drawing a blank
is it bad that i can't think of a darned thing that i want right now? well, there is one thing, but i can't have it. there are other factors to consider with that one. btw - i am talking about my birthday. it's tomorrow and i feel rather unenthused about it.
i've always felt like 25 was so far away and now i find it ominously lurking mere hours away. i always looked forward to becoming 21. i think everyone did. 23 was a good age. it was the age when bar hopping was second nature. old enough to know my limits, yet naive enough to ignore them on more than one occasion. 24 has been pretty good to me all in all. i've lived, loved, and laughed (insert a teary hallmark moment here). best of all, i think i've learned. what i've learned, well, that can hardly be summed up in a post. how i've learned it, well that gets tricky and a tad too personal at times. just know that i will hopefully apply some of it to my next year of life on this planet and build on the lessons learned in my 24th year.
today's completely unrelated topic:
i cannot believe that the photos i had posted in webshots have been viewed as many times as they have. the cheering photos are up to almost 1700 views. that's crazy! of course, they are cheerleading photos, so who knows who is out there hoping to peep at them.
