never ending connections

ran into my friend, E, at a local sub shop the other day. was so great to see the boy. i haven't seen or talked to him in months! we caught up for a few minutes with a quick bulleted list of each of our lives over the past few months and promised to talk again soon. it's friendships like this one that completely amuse me. it's one of those friendships where you can hang out with the person day after day and be really close and all wrapped up in each other's lives, and then go a while without talking at all and be back to that same feeling of connectedness with just one quick conversation.
