aaahhh ... the weekend

here's what's been going on....

recently, i've had a friend looking for a new apartment in my neighborhood. i am really looking forward to having another one of my peeps near me. besides i've decided that this is only fair really - her apartment will be 2.5 blocks from mine and N is moving 3 blocks from L in NYC, so they are close too. looking at the apartments was a lot of fun, but it made me appreciate my place just as much.

work - been crazy as usual. new boss is doing a great job at prioritizing my workload, and setting steps to help me get through all the things that are being thrown at me lately. i really loved my old boss and the flexibility he gave me, how he never micromanaged, and was really a bonified shrink most of the time for my personal life. :) the new boss brings a lot of organization and a bit more rigid of a structure to it all. i think i've learned a lot from the past and look forward to learning new lessons in the future. i really do believe you've got to be open to change in this world... i am living in a corporate world, and i am a corporate girl. :) (pardon my cheesiness, but it made me smile and reality check- that is what ultimately counts to me)

heard of a few parties coming up that i am excited about. not to mention my birthday in a few months... has it been a quarter-century already?? man, what ever happened to the days of recess. can you imagine if we still had recess? fun thought. everyone in the parking lot of their workplace, jumping rope, playing four-square, drawing with chalk, .... so funny.

sorry - completely digressed there - where was i?... oh, ya getting older. that's enough on that for a while.

the weekend - having a free weekend really does brighten my mood. just knowing that there are so many possibilities to waste away my time is incredible to me. the only problem is figuring out which to do, with whom, and when. R always makes fun of me for this stuff.

looking forward to getting to see L, T, N, and M in NYC in 2 weeks. should be fun.

big brother turning 30 this year. going to a party for him. big milestone year for him. getting married too.
